Characteristics of Mango Wood
•Mango wood comes from Southern Asia, although it’s believed to have originated in India. The tree grows to as tall as the Indian rosewood to 30 meters.
•Since this tree produces mangos, it lives until its fruit production stops, it is only at this stage its cut down and used for timber.
•Mango wood is strong and durable, with the added quality of being highly resistant to water. It’s not as heavy as Sheesham wood.
